J.J. Johnson, Viola, has received a B.M. from Arizona State University in Viola Performance and Musical Theatre, and is currently pursuing his M.M. at Carnegie Mellon University. Mr. Johnson greatly enjoys performing and freelancing with such orchestras as the Wheelings Symphony Orchestra, Westmoreland Symphony, Pittsburgh Opera, and the Opera Theatre of Pittsburgh. He has also performed with many great chamber groups, such as the Swan Trio, flute viola and harp, Primary Colors, clarinet viola and piano, and the string quintet The Company.
